Philippe is a driven consultant with over 20 years of experience in international and strategic HR. He is experienced in setting up HR organizations in changing contexts. His experiences in various HR roles have given him broad know-how in domains such as Change, Divestitures & Acquisitions, Recruitment & Selection, Learning & Development, and Talent Management. Philippe is also a Black Belt in Process Excellence.
Philippe graduated a Master of Organizational Psychology at the University of Ghent in 1997. He also holds an MBA from Vlerick Business School and HR Strategy from Cornell University (USA).
After working for two years in an IT start-up as an HR consultant and HR Manager, he joined Janssen Pharmaceutica (Johnson & Johnson) in 1999 and held various HR positions in the Belgian branch in Beerse. He then moved on to HR positions at the international level (USA, APAC, EMEA). His last function at JNJ was Head of Human Resources Europe, Middle East & Asia. His HR scope covered more than 19,000 employees in 30 countries.
Philippe was elected “HR Ambassador of the Year” in 2012.
