Karl is the author of two books.

In “Kracht vanuit Onmacht” (Strength through Powerlessness) Karl writes about how people, both leaders and coworkers, struggle with feelings of powerlessness. Karl focuses on three sources of powerlessness: continuous change, political dynamics, and coaching.

It seems to be a paradox, but coaching has the potential to become a source of strength.

The book shows how leaders can give strength. The book is an authentic, practical and personal account on how to deal with powerlessness and go to strength.

In a second book that he has co-authored, Karl shares his insights on how to make sure one’s impact is sustainable.

After thousands of hours of coaching, the authors learned there’s a great need to increase the impact one has on relationships, colleagues, careers, teams, and organizations.

At the core of this book is “leadership through conversations”. The authors offer strategies, practices and tools to acquire this competence.
