Otolith unites a team of consultants. We started in 2018. We help organizations to progress by applying what we know about human behaviour to business challenges. Our field of work is on the crossroad between strategy, leadership and HR.

We are currently looking for an intern (m/f/x)

Master Student in Psychology or Data Science

You will we working with a team of independent consultants who help organizations get better results by focusing in the human side of strategy execution. For that we want to develop a couple of diagnostic tools that help us to assess situations, build hypotheses and work with leaders on changing and improving things.

Developing these tools will be your main mission. But we will treat you like a junior consultant, meaning you will be involved in the projects that are at hand. And if you’re up to it, you can also deliver content and service to our customers yourself. We expect you to give a hand and support the consultants. Finally, you will help us build our brand through social media and events.

Why you should not take this internship?

If you’re someone who is not entrepreneurial and you cannot work on your own, you won’t be happy. If you do not dare to stand in front of a group, you will not be happy. If you don’t like to work with data and statistics, you won’t be happy. But if you are entrepreneurial, creative and communicative person, come and join us.

What we offer is the support not by one, but by 5 consultants. 4 of them are organizational psychologists. They will take you on board, give you a broad overview of what psychology in action is, how you can work with people who are facing big challenges. You can take the space you can handle and inspire them with what you know, find out. Your questions, your input and your work will help Otolith to grow further.

What we Expect

Master Student Organizational Psychology or Data Science - in Europe

You study Organizational Psychology or Data Science. If you study something else, show us that you are bringing enough background and motivation to integrate.

If you're not a student and not eligible for an internship in Belgium please do not apply. Candidates from outside the European Union need not apply.

Analytical, Entrepreneurial, Communicative

You like to work with data. You are able to analyse and visualise data and turn them into actionable information. You are not afraid to get up and talk to colleagues and customers.Speaking in public is something that you like to do. Your communication skills are well developed. You take the space we offer and fill it with your initiatives.

You read, write and speak English. You speak Dutch. French is an asset.

Practical

You will work with 5 consultants. You will support them, work with them on their missions, provide insights and tools they need. But you will focus also on developing one diagnostic tool that will become one of the spearpoints of our service.

Where you work can be discussed. You can work form the Otolith House or from Home. But we will expect you to be on the road as well. Let us know what you need and we will arrange it.

The internship is not remunerated. But we will cover expenses. We’ll set you up with an Otolith email, a space on our website and if you need another computer than your own, it will be an Apple.

You can start in September and your internship runs for at least 4 months.
